Colour Tip!
Colour plays a big part in the characteristic of paint. You will get more coverage with White based paints then you will with neutral or black based paints.
Tip:
- With ceiling whites a lot of painters add a couple of drops of black tinter to improve the coverage. This small amount is not enough to change to the colour even in the purest of whites.

Coverage seems to be Important too!
- Rolling will give you more coverage but will also take longer.
- Spraying is quicker but will not give you the coverage.
- A premium paint will generally have more coverage than cheaper paints will have.
